Everything from hot and cold forged products to the development and manufacture of high-pressure gas cylinders
Cold forging greatly reduces the need for machining
By cold forging precision hot forged products to remake their shapes, we are able to produce precision combined forging products.
It is now possible to produce products with complex shapes that previously could only be finished by using machining. This new forging process does not require secondary processing, which means we can offer automobile parts, etc. that cost less and are of better quality.
This process has been particularly beneficial in the manufacturing of dogtooth transmission gears for automobiles. In the past, the two pieces of these gears had to be welded together, but this one-piece forged product allows transmission gears to be smaller and improves the “feel” when gears are shifted.
